Kickstarter Campaign Filming Day

A few days ago, filmaker Casey Sjogren and I took to the streets of Ridgecrest to film the video for the Charging Hippo Brewing Co. Kickstarter campaign that will be launching off in a few weeks!

We're partnering with the crowd-funding website to raise a little more capital for our brewery to make it that much more awesome, and to get the Shoreline community involved in what we're doing. We've got some amazing incentive items soon-to-be-available and we'll be sure to give everyone a heads up for when the 30-day campaign charge will be "kickstarting-off"! 

See what we did there? Sorry...we couldn't help it.

That's all for now and headed back to work on what needs to be done before finalizing our lease...enjoy the sun while it's here!

Hello and greetings from Charging Hippo Brewing Co.!

We are a nano-brewery currently in development and looking to become Shoreline, Washington's first brewery the city can call their own with plans of opening our doors 2013.

We're passionate lovers of craft beer and brewing culture and after starting as homebrewers years ago, are all about expressing the creative spirit that flows through friends, our community, and what we passionately brew.

There are many great breweries in the area, and being a fan of so many has us eager to jump into the pool and share what we love with our patrons; fresh flavors, laughter, and a culture founded over taste and creativity.

As we move closer to opening, we wil continue to share our journey of how we are getting to where we're going via this site, and on twitter by following @charginghippo for the newest day-to-day happenings.
